Stinky cheese tour
Join cheese educator and author Madame Fromage (a.k.a Tenaya Darlington) for a virtual class about washed rinds, otherwise known as “stinkers!” Learn about this style, along with pairing tips and recipe ideas. This is a BYO-Cheese class with a list of suggested cheeses, from mild to wild, (below) that you can pick up on your own. If you’d just like to sip a glass of something, listen in, and ask questions, that’s fine too!
Soft-ripened Safari
Join Madame Fromage in a virtual class that explores soft-ripened cheeses! Think Brie, Camembert, triple cremes…anything with a downy rind.
Cheese Ball & Book Party
Prepare for an evening of cheese ecstasy as Philadelphia author and personality Madame Fromage (aka Tenaya Darlington) hosts her 6th Cheese Ball on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Ruba Club in celebration of her new book!
Meet makers & graze in the Sampling Salon (7-9 pm)

Cookbooks & Convos In-Person Book Event
An Evening with "Adventures in Cheese" Author Tenaya Darlington & Local Purveyors, presented by Philadelphia’s Cookbooks & Convos!
Join us for a cheese-focused graze-a-thon led by Philadelphia author Tenaya Darlington, aka Madame Fromage, with Birchrun Hills' cheesemaker Sue Miller, Anne Karlen of Third Wheel Cheese, Niki Toscani of Fishtown Pickle Project and Alex Cohen of Kismet Bagels.
Voyagers will be guided through an adventure in assembling and enjoying a delicious cheese board. This delectable event will be held in the lounge of the historic Guild House Hotel in Philadelphia, which celebrates its origins as a hospitable respite for women entering the workforce at the turn of century. Tickets include access to graze and sip, plus a copy of "Adventures in Cheese."
